My Review:
As soon as I read the description of this book I knew I wanted to read it. I thought it sounded really good. I dove into it as soon I got it and couldn't put it down.
I have to say I liked Marek. He's possessive, protective and caring. I liked watching his walls come down and falling in love. Though there were a few times he drove me nuts. But I understood where he was coming from.
I really liked Sully. I really felt for her also and everything she had been through. She's only known one way of life and has been told a bunch of lies. She has been through a ton of abuse by the two men in her life she should be able to trust the most. So it was understandable it was hard for her to trust and open up to Marek after basically being kidnapped by him.
This book was dark and gritty. I will also say that it ended with a little bit of a cliffhanger. And I kind of hesitate to say cliffhanger. I will say that you can tell there is more to come and the troubles for Marek and Sully aren't over yet. I will say there was one point in this book that almost had me stop reading it. Something happens that I'm not ok with, but I continued on. But other than that part I thought this book was enjoyable.
I'm giving this book 4 Stars out of 5 and can't wait for more!!!!!
