The Fall Up {Book Review}

Title: The Fall Up

Author: Aly Martinez

Genre: Contemporary Romance

Book Description

I wanted to jump.
He made me fall.

As a celebrity, I lived in the public eye, but somewhere along the way, I’d lost myself in the spotlight.

Until he found me.

Sam Rivers was a gorgeous, tattooed stranger who saved my life with nothing more than a simple conversation.

But we were both standing on that bridge for a reason the night we met. The secrets of our pasts brought us together—and then tore us apart.

Could we find a reason to hold on as life constantly pulled us down?

Or maybe there’s only one direction to go when two people fall in love at rock bottom—up.

My Review

     I'm going to try not and ramble through this review and make it long winded. But I have to say one of the things I have learned from reading author Aly Martinez's books is that they will grab your attention. And take an emotional ride.

     I loved Sam. He's recently lost his sister and finds himself going to the bridge she jumped off of every night. Where he unexpectedly runs into and meets Levee. My heart broke for Sam when I heard about his sister. But at the same time he was sweet and caring, and had a funny side.

     I really liked Levee. She a musician, who has pretty much everything she wants in life. But she struggles with one tragedy that happened in her life.

     This book was a beautiful story of two people who are broken. But happen to just find each other at possibly just the right time. I really enjoyed the characters and even enjoyed the secondary characters.

     I'm giving this book 4 out of 5 stars.
