Last First Kiss {Book Review}

Title: Last First Kiss {A Brightwater Novel}

Author: Lia Riley

Genre: Contemporary Romance

Book Description:

A kiss is just the beginning…
Pinterest Perfect. Or so Annie Carson's life appears on her popular blog. Reality is ... messier. Especially when it lands her back in one-cow town Brightwater, California, and back in the path of the gorgeous six-foot-four reason she left. Sawyer Kane may fill out those Wranglers, but she won't be distracted from her task. Annie just needs the summer to spruce up and sell her family's farm so she and her young son can start a new life in the big city. Simple, easy, perfect.
Sawyer has always regretted letting the first girl he loved slip away. He won't make the same mistake twice, but can he convince beautiful, wary Annie to trust her heart again when she's been given every reason not to? And as a single kiss turns to so much more, can Annie give up her idea of perfect for a forever that's blissfully real?

My Review:

      I have been a big fan of this authors since her first book came out, and couldn't wait to get my hands on this book. I really liked the premise of this series and I mean really, who doesn't love a good second chance romance and Cowboy's?  This book had me hooked right from the beginning to the end.

      I really liked Annie's character. She was sweet and caring, and a little bit sassy at times. Annie finds herself returning home to brightwater after her divorce and to help get her family home ready to sell. She’s trying to figure out the best solution for her and her son. I liked how free spirited she was, and even though she seemed a little different than everyone else she really wasn't that different.

     I loved Sawyer right away. He's was sweet and caring, protective,  and sexy. Plus it didn't hurt that he was a stetson wearing sheriff. I loved how he was trying to make things right with Annie as soon as he knew she was back.

     I really enjoyed this book. It was a light and sweet read with a HEA.  As I said above it held my attention from the beginning to the end. It made me laugh and made me teary-eyed. The characters were very enjoyable and the story flowed very well.

    I'm giving this book 4.5 stars out of 5 and would recommend it. I can't wait to read Archer's story!!!!!
