My Review:

I just want to say this was departure from what I'm usually used to with this author. And I don't mean that in a bad way. This book was Darker and Grittier than I had expected. Which made it a captivating and unexpected read. I literally couldn't put it down once I started reading. This book will pull you in from start to finish. 

Charlie is a young girl who has no family and really no friends. She finds herself trying to find a way to survive after running away from her foster family. I found Charlie to be strong and a fighter. Even though at times she seemed a bit naive about things. She did what she did just to survive.

Oh boy Landon....... He definitely wasn't what I was expecting. I kind of have a love/strong dislike feelings for him. His moods were so hot and cold at times they gave me whiplash. And I'm trying not to give any spoilers away here, but in the end I understood his mood swings. And he had redeem himself. 

I will say this book has stayed on my mind ever since I read it. I don't want to give anything away. But if you enjoy a darker read than your definitely going to want to read this book.
