Exposed {Book Review}

Title: Exposed (A New Life Novel,  Book Four)

Author: Samantha Jacobey

Book Description:

When seduction and danger are all you've ever known can you ever truly leave it behind?

When Tori walked away from a life of crime, she set forth on a path of redemption and discovery. She found a man to call her own, and a life she would give anything to keep. But love and life aren't always beautiful or kind...sometimes they are painful and traitorous.

For years, Tori's drug of choice was alcohol, but through hard work and self-determination she has learned to exist without it. Suddenly faced with her true identity, and the danger of having friends and family destroyed by the world she left behind, she finds herself once again lost in a dark world filled with sex. drugs and murder.

She thought that a life of normalcy is what she wanted most, but when she gets a small taste of the dangerous life she once lived, she is forced to face the facts...not all of the demons are found on the outside.

My Review:

       So I had high hopes for Exposed after Entwined. I was really hoping that the author would keep up the pace she started in the last book. Again as with the last two books this book picks up right where Entwined left off. We find that the Fed's start to push there way back into Tori’s life. Of course you knew it was coming,  you knew they were just waiting in the background.

       In this book right at the beginning we get to learn a little more about Tori's background when Tori and Michael find themselves having to go help Michaels former employers. I definitely wasn't expecting to find out that she was related to Brain.

     I have to say I was happy to see that Tori was starting to remember things. Though aafter that my opinion of Tori again goes down a bit. As Tori feels she has to go into the Scorpions and part of her old life. I'm sorry I understand that she did what she did because she thought she had no other choice. But she still cheated on Michael.

     I'm giving Exposed 4 out of 5 stars.
