My Review:

So if you haven't figured out yet I love to read MC books. But I'm kind of picky about my MC. Sometime they are hit or miss. Of course as with all books I go in with a open mind. And with this series you definitely need to have a very open mind. This is not your typical MC book. This book is dark and intense, and I have to warn deals with a dark matter.  That might be a tigger for some people.

This book kind of starts off slow and I kind of had a hard time getting into it at first. This book really is about us getting to know Tori and some of what has happened in her life.

Tori is a young woman who we first meet in a hospital.  I wasn't sure what to make of Tori at first. She was obviously a young woman who had been through a lot. Which did make me feel for her.

This book had a lot of flashbacks in it from Tori's memories. It is obvious that something else is going on since the Fed's are involved. But the author doesn't really let on what that secret is.

I'm giving Captive 3.5 Stars out of 5 Stars.
