Indelible {Book Review}

Title: Indelible (A New Life Novel,  Book Five)

Author: Samantha Jacobey

Book Description:

What do you do if you discover the life you’re living isn’t the one you were meant to have?

Tori Farrell’s path has been a long one. She was raised by a Motorcycle Gang called the Dragons, trained as an assassin, and lived by the sword in a world consisting of drugs, sex, violence and murder. She made her escape, and even successfully thwarted a second attempt to draw her back in.

Returning to her safe new life, Tori faces unforeseen challenges, as the discovery of her Rock Star relation, Brian Madson, gives way to the desire to have the life she was born to live. Haunted by fear, and caught in a fierce battle between her husband and brother, she must learn to accept her dark past and face her future boldly. The FBI and The Organization still linger in the shadows, and time is creeping forward, pushing her to choose. Which path will she take, and where will it lead, when she is forced to decide between destiny and fate”

My Review:

     After the last two books I was starting to really get into this series and was only hoping that this series was on the way up. Unfortunately with this book that wasn't the case. This series kind of went downhill for me with this book.

    I found that I couldn't stand Brian.  He was just kind of selfish in this book. I understand that he just wanted to get his sister again after finding out she wasn't dead. But he obviously didn't seem to care want she wanted or how she felt. He also didn't seem to care at all for Michael and a Tori's relationship.

     After how I felt about Tori in the last book. My feelings about her feel even farther in this book. She also seemed very selfish in this this book and very whiney.  She also didn't seem to care how Michael felt about anything.

    This book was my least favorite of the series, even more than book one and two. I kind of felt like it was a filler book and wasn't really necessary for the series.

     I can only give Indelible 3 out of 5 stars.
