Eternal Mourning {Book Review}

Title: Eternal Mourning
Series: Talon Pack Book 7
Author: Carrie Ann Ryan
Genre: Paranormal Romance

Book Description:

In the seventh book of the Talon Pack series from NYT Bestselling Author Carrie Ann Ryan, a Healer is forced to come to grips with the idea that he can’t save everyone…including the woman he loves.

Walker Brentwood vowed to the moon goddess that he’d protect his Pack and Heal with every last ounce of his power. He’s watched his siblings and cousin battle the worst circumstances to find love and is now afraid that the one woman who could be his might not have much time left. The rules of mating have changed, and Walker will do what he has to in order to protect the bonds that have eluded him for so long.

Aimee Reagan knows there’s something wrong with her. She’s known since the first time she found out shifters were real and magic existed. When the Talon Pack’s enemy sets his sights on her, her battle to survive becomes even harder.

Walker and Aimee must turn to each other when the powers around them change and the paths that had been laid before them are no longer clear. But when their passion threatens a curse far older than anyone dreamed, they’ll only have one chance to save something worth more than a mating bond. Their future.

My Review

So I have to say that I knew I had to read this book as soon as I finished Mitch and Dawn's book. I knew I needed it right away and wanted it right than. I was kinda impatient for it. But alas I did wait patiently for this book. I have been a fan of Mrs. Ryan's books for a while now and I know she had some personal stuff happen while writing this book. So having to wait patiently for this next book was no problem at all.

I loved Walker in this book. He's the healer of the pack and has watched of his family fall in love. Walker is one of the only family who has really wanted to find his mate. I  thought he was sweet, kind, caring, and protective.

We were introduced to Aimee back in Destiny Disgraced, she was a human friend of Dawn's. But is she really human like everyone thinks? Aimee quickly realizes that something isn't quite right with her and goes and gets dozens of tests done. Only to find out they couldn't find anything wrong. I liked Aimee I thought she was sweet and very likable.

I really enjoyed this book. I thought the attraction between Walker and Aimee was off the charts. Mrs. Ryan did not disappoint with the twists and turns she has thrown into this series. And she definitely didn't disappoint with this book either. And there wasn't a lack of smexiness in this book either.

I'm giving this book 4 Stars out of 5 and can't wait for the next!!!!
