Title: Alex {A Cold Fury Hockey Novel}
Author: Sawyer Bennett
Genre: Romance
Book Description:
As a social worker, Sutton Price is accustomed to difficult people—like Alex, who’s been assigned to help her create a drug-abuse awareness program for at-risk youth as part of the team’s effort to clean up his image. What she doesn’t expect is the arrogant smirk from his perfect lips to stir her most heated fantasies. But Sutton isn’t one to cross professional boundaries—and besides, Alex doesn’t do relationships . . . or does he? The more she sees behind Alex’s bad-boy façade, the more Sutton craves the man she uncovers.
My Review:
I was so excited about this series from Sawyer. I absolutely love hockey romances. And I couldn't wait to read this book. And I have to say Sawyer didn't disappoint with this book.
Oh Alex Crossman is the kind of character that no one should like. He's cocky, arrogant, and just plain rude at times. But he's also the kind of character you can't help falling for once you get to know him and understand why he is the way he is.
I found Sutton to be like able at the most. I don't know why but something held me back from really liking her character.
Both characters come from messed up childhoods. Obviously one of them has figured out a way to get over it and the other one hasn't.
I'm going to give this story a 4.5 Stars out of 5 Stars just because I enjoy Sawyer's books and really enjoy hockey romances. I can't wait for the next book this series.
