My Review:

This is the first book I have read from author Kathleen Brooks. She's another one of those authors that I hadn't heard of before. I had been asked to do a spotlight spot and giveaway for this book. And have a chance to read the book. I read the blurb for the post I had put up and again thought that it sounded like a book I would be interested in reading.

This book has a little bit of everything. It grabs your attention, a little bit of mystery, a little bit of romance, a little bit of drama.

Bree's character had a little bit of sass. But a lot of determination for working in a man's world. Bree also is having to find a way to keep herself alive through the whole story. Bree's character also made me laugh at times.

Logan's character was loveable right away. He rescues Bree right after she goes into the building that has an explosion. Logan is sweet and protective and caring. 

Kathleen really makes you think and try to figure out who is out to get Bree. I know there were several times I went back and forth trying to figure it out. 

I give this book a 4 out of 5 stars and would recommend it. I can't wait to read other books from this author.
