Maniac {Book Review}

Title: Maniac
Series: Fallen Lords MC Book 3
Author: Winter Travers
Genre: MC Romance

Book Description:

Lost. Alone. Desolate.
Wren Glass was done. She couldn’t continue to live the lie everything was okay, when in reality, she was dead inside. After being used and abused by the Hell Captains MC, Wren lands in the lap of Maniac. A man who sees her as nothing more than a chore.
A man just like the one she managed to escape.
At least, that’s what she thought.
Vengeful. Enraged. Calculated.

Maniac West isn’t a man to mess with. Not with him and not with his club.
When he is assigned to watch over Wren, he ignores how he feels about the woman with the soulless eyes. Something in them makes him crave to return light there. But Wren is a job. No more, no less.
That all changes when Wren decides she doesn’t want to live.
A woman battered and bruised from the inside out, with no will to live, needs a hero.
Maniac isn’t a hero, but he will turn hell upside down and burn it to the ground to avenge the woman who fell into his world. Anything to bring back the light in her eyes.

My Review:

I have to admit that I was a little worried about this book. I had really felt let down from Pipe's book and I had really expected to love it. And than it had just kind of disappointed me. So I was a bit weary going into this book. But I'm really happy that I went into this book without any expectations this time. And I have to say that this book does not disappoint.

I really really really liked Maniac in this book. He was sweet, kind, caring, and protective. He was awesome and supportive of Wren, and knew when and when not to push her. I thought he was the right match for her.

I will admit that although I liked Wren, she drove me nuts sometimes. And I don't mean in a good way either. I mean I had to roll my eyes a lot at the way she acted a lot and just wanted to shake her. I know she had been through a lot with the Hell's Captains, but at the same time again I couldn't stand the way she acted at times.

As I mentioned at the beginning of this review I did find this book much more enjoyable than the last one. I read it non-stop from start to finish. This book does have a bit of drama and action, there's also some humor thrown in.

I'm giving this book 4 Stars out of 5 and can't wait for Wrecker and Alice's book!!!
