A second chance for Joy

While recovering at a remote cabin, Dr. Simon Walsh stumbles across Cara Amos. Injured and left for dead, Cara is harboring dark secrets. Yet Simon can't help falling for his mysterious patient. My Review

So this is the first time I have read anything by Mrs. Quinn and anything in this series. The description of the book is what really drew me to it and made me want to read it. Plus it was holiday themed and who can resist a holiday book during the holiday season?

This book is a bit different from others as it really has two stories going on in one book with four different characters. I would love to talk about all of the characters, but that would make my review extremely long. And I don't want to bore you with extremely long babble, like right now.

I loved Dr. Simon Walsh. I really felt for him and what he was going through. I thought he was sweet, kind, caring, and thoughtful. I loved how he didn't push Cara, but at the same time was there to support her if she wanted to talk.

I kind of went back and forth with Cara. Though I did really feel for her and what she had been through. Because she was truly a survivor. At times I felt her stubbornness got on my nerves. But at the same time my heart broke for her also.

I did like Edward and Lila's characters also and was so happy they were able to get their HEA. And I just loved little Joy to pieces.

I really enjoyed this book. It pulled me in from start to finish. I laughed at times, I found I had tears in my eyes at times. I found myself being pulled into these characters lifes and cheering them on. I will definitely be going back and reading other books from this series.

I'm giving this book 4 Stars out of 5!!!!
