Laura Dunaway lives in Utah with her prince of 18 years and her three amazing children. Family comes first to Laura, even before reading and writing. While she's always had a passion for reading and writing, it wasn't until a few years ago that she finally realized she should pursue her dream of writing and publishing a book. After many many attempts at starting one, her first book, Distorted, was finally the one that flowed and before she knew it, she'd written The End. Discovering Lucy is her second book and she has written a novella Love, Nick that is part of the Nighttides Anthology. She is  currently at work on her third book, Twisted Desire, due to release in the Fall of 2014.

Driven by some emotion she couldn’t name, Victoria turned and walked back over to Nick. He was frowning at her when she reached up and pulled his head down. She pressed her lips to his cheek, felt the roughness of his stubble and breathed the smell of him—sand, spice, and cool water—deep into her lungs.

“Thanks for saving me,” she said, her lips close to his ear.

She started to step away, but he caught her close and turned his head, his lips meeting hers. The contact was shocking—and delicious in a way she hadn’t anticipated. She’d been kissed before, but this… this was better than any of those kisses had been.

His mouth was soft and hard against hers, his hands firm on her hips as he held her against him. The kiss was hot and tame all at once. Simultaneously the most arousing and most chaste kiss she’d ever had. He didn’t force her mouth open, didn’t thrust his tongue between her lips—he just kissed her hard and thoroughly before setting her away from him and taking a step backward.

And, God, she wanted his tongue so badly now. Wanted to feel it sliding against her own, stroking her senses higher.

But the kiss was over and he was looking at her, his jaw firm and a hard look in his eyes.

“You’re welcome,” he said, and it took her a moment to remember that she’d thanked him for saving her.

“I… I have to go.” Her cheeks flamed as she said it because he knew she had to leave as well as she did. The car was running, and she’d left the door open. She took a step backward, and then another.

Then she turned and got inside the car, determined not to look at him again. But she failed because she looked up, her gaze clashing with his right as she closed the door. And she didn’t look away as they drove off. Nick didn’t move from the spot she’d left him standing in.

It was only when the car turned and he was out of sight that she remembered how to breathe.

My Review:

     I was so excited to be reading the next book in the HOT Series by Lynn Raye Harris. I have fallen for these Military bad boys in this series. So when I was given the chance to read the next one I jumped on it. As I said in my review of Hot Shot, which you can read the full review of that book Here. That is the first book I had read in this series, even though it had been book five. But also as I said in that review I went back and got the other books and caught up. All of the books can be read as Stand Alones which I like, so you won't be too confused if you start later in the series. You just might not understand who everybody is or what it is they do, unless you go back and read the other books.

     Like all the other books in this series this book starts off with a bang and grabs your attention right away and holds it till the end. There's action, a little bit of mystery, a little bit of drama, a little bit of sexiness. Oh and can't forget about the boy's on the Hot team thrown into the mix.

    Nick "Brandy" Brandon is one of those guy's you know you shouldn't like, but you end up liking anyway. He's the cocky player type, who thinks any girl would fall at his feet. But he is also a intelligent sniper who knows how to do his job and do it well. I wouldn't mind falling for the likes of Nick. But I also admire Nick for standing up against his parents for something he believes in.

     Victoria is independent, sassy and likes to run her mouth a lot. She's also a little bit stubborn and definitely will go against the norm. But you quickly realize that Victoria is very loyal when she wants to be. And definitely believes in going after something, especially going after her sister, even if it means for her to go against her own country.

     I love this series and again can not wait until the next one comes out. I would give this book a 4.5 out of 5 stars. And would recommend it to anyone who loves the sexy Military Alpha Male type books.

My Review:

       I was asked by the wonderful Cathryn Fox to do a review of this boxed set and I more than happily agreed to do it. Not only do I love Cathryn's books, but I was also looking to see if I found any new author's that I may enjoy. So normally I would do a whole long review on each book in this set. But I don't want to bore you and I'm actually on a library computer so I have a limited time to write this review.

     Anyways I'm babbling here.... On with the show, I'm going to write reviews for 3 of the books in here. A couple of the books that were included in this set were actually books that I have read in other sets. So they weren't really new to me. But I'm going to write a review for Debt of Honor, Yours to Take, and Handcuffed to the Sheikh.

Yours To Take:
        As I said I was asked by the wonderful Cathryn Fox to review this set, especially for her book. This was a enjoyable fast and quick read. I almost wish that this story was a little bit longer than it was. I really enjoyed Rebecca and Quinn's character's. If someone were to kidnap me for a  weekend I would definitely want it to be Quinn. I wouldn't mind him teaching me a few thing's. It was steamy and hot and everything delicious. Like I said it was a fun and quick read.

Debt Of Honor:
       This book was the 1st story in the set and the 1st story I read. And it was one of those books that I normally don't read much of and when I first started to read it I was like "uhhhh." I found myself not wanting to read it but at the same time I couldn't stop reading it. In the end though I really did enjoy it and found that I enjoyed the character's in this book. I will warn you though there is some female on female action in this story. So if you don't enjoy reading that you might not enjoy this story.

Handcuffed to the Sheikh:
     After reading Debt of Honor, I decided to go ahead and read Handcuffed to the Sheikh. This was another fast and quick story. It was steamy and hot and so much more. I loved the character's Maxine and Sayd. This story made me laugh a little bit and it made me really feel for Maxine (who can't remember she's married to Sayd) and for Sayd because he loves Maxine and just wants her to remember their love. It's another one of the stories in this set that I wish just a little bit longer than it actually was.

               Overall I would give this boxed set a 4.5 out of 5 Stars. It was thoroughly enjoyable and I liked all of the books in them. I would recommend this boxed set to anyone who loves any kind of story that has a little bit of everything in it.
