Four Weddings and A Break Up {Book Review}

Disclaimer: I received an ARC of this book from the author Eylssa Patrick for my review and post. The opinions in this post are 100% of my own and my differ from others.

Title: Four Weddings and A Break Up

Author: Elyssa Patrick

Genre: Contemporary Romance

About the book:

One fake relationship . . .

Ginny Michaels has always been a good girl and—ever since surviving a school shooting a little over a year ago—hailed a hero. Except she doesn’t feel like a hero. She can’t even have a one-night stand with sexy Wes Dalton properly. When her big city fling resurfaces in her hometown with an intriguing proposition, she’s powerless to resist. A fake relationship is exactly what’s needed to keep her small town’s matchmakers at bay during the upcoming wedding season. If only her attraction to Wes were as easy to ignore.

Too many real kisses . . .

Wes Dalton doesn’t have many regrets, and that includes his night with Ginny. But he’s always hoped to strengthen his relationship with his estranged family. When his father’s health takes a bad turn, Wes puts his life on hold and moves to the meddling seaside town of Cape Hope. With his barriers in place—and a beautiful woman to help him hold them up—he’s prepared for anything. Or so he thinks. Despite his determination to leave as soon as the summer is over, those fake kisses are starting to feel an awful lot like the real thing.

My Review:

       Hmmmm what can go wrong with a one night stand? Oh so many things that's what!!!! I received a ARC of this book from the author Elyssa Patrick and I wasn't sure what to except with this book. Honestly I've read a lot of books where the plot has the character's meeting during a one night stand and than go on to have a fake relationship. And well some of the books work out and well other's don't. So I was a little cautious when I started reading this book and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised at this book. It's not your typical one night stand/fake dating book.

      I loved both Ginny and Wes's character's right away.

      I loved that even though Ginny had been through something so horrific and tragic that she was still a strong and independent person and she was trying to move on from the past. But that it was sort of hard for her to move forward with the town not moving past the "Hero" status  that the town  put on her.

     Wes, Wes, Wes what can I say about Wes? Well he's tall, dark and handsome. He is definitely the kind of guy I would want to protect me.

     This book has a little bit of everything in it from humor, to romance, to just a touch of mystery in it. I really enjoyed it and would definitely give it a 4.5 out of 5 stars.
