Thorn {Book Review}

Title: Thorn
Series: Rosewood High #1
Author: Tracy Lorraine
Genre: YA/NA High School Bully Romance

Book Description

She's an English Rose and I'm about to be a thorn in her side.

She doesn't belong here. From the moment she steps foot in Rosewood High— it's clear she must go.

And I'll use my power to get rid of her. The betrayal I'm reminded of each time our eyes lock must end.

She's a lost rich girl, trying to recover from the death of her parents. But none of that is my concern.

This is my life. My rules. My senior year. What I say goes. And I say she's done.

Until she proves me wrong...

My Review:

So I read a lot of Bully romance and I mean A Lot. It's typically all I read nowaday's. This was the first time I've read anything from Mrs. Lorraine. I wanted to love this and really enjoy it. But I kind of just found it, Ehhhh, I will explain later in this review.

Let's start with Amalie... She's a girl who is starting a new life, in a new country, in a new school after losing her parents. I found it a little weird that she was being held back a year, just so she could get used to everything. Also I found it a bit weird that Amalie tried to act tough and than went behind closed doors and cried.

Oh Jake.... Let's just say I have conflicting feelings on him. He sure was your typical bully. And than there's the reason he's so mean to Amalie. It was obvious from the start that it wasn't exactly because of her, that it was because of someone else.

I have to say this book did have some really good points. And I thought there were some interesting characters. In fact I found some of the characters more interesting than Amalie and Jake. Also I found that it seemed that there was major parts of the story missing.

I'm giving this book 3 Stars out of 5!!!
