Ivy's Poison {Book Review}

Title: Ivy's Poison
Series: Cavalieri Della Morte Series
Author: India R. Adams
Genre: Romantic Suspense

Book Description:

Bors is hungry for revenge after one of his assignments spins out of control. Not only is he tortured by the man he was hired to murder, the president of a notorious and ruthless motorcycle club, but he’s also left in the care of the man’s deranged daughter, Ivy. And she knows exactly who is chained and at her mercy, the one she has wanted dead for three years.

During captivity, Bors witnesses what has become of Ivy’s life, and finds himself trapped between hatred and sorrow for his female tormentor.

“It only took one day for me to hate her more than my worst enemy.

Only took two to start planning her death.

And only three… to fall in love with her.”

Bors is an avenger. Especially Ivy’s.

My Review:

Yes.... Yes.... 100% Yes to this book right here... Now that's what I'm talking about...

I have to say By Far that this book is probably my favorite of the series so far. I think that this book what the rest of this series was going to be like. And although I have liked the other guy's in this series, they have nothing on Bors. This book is a bit darker, ok who am I kidding?... This book is much darker than the other's and may hold some very senstitive subjects to some people.

Man Bors.... What can I say about him?... I think Bors is the one man since the beginning of this series I couldn't wait to get my hands on. We've seen him make a couple of appearences in the other books. But he has been one of the more intriguing character's that we don't know much about. Except that he's the Best Hand to Hand fighter and the other member's of the Tebella Della Morte train with. And I will say in this book we don't really learn much more about him except for a few things. What I do have to say that came as a big surprise is what a softy Bors is underneath all that tough gruffness.

Oh Ivy.... I don't know what I think about her... Ivy's a young woman who was raised in a motorcycle club by her father that isn't that great of a club. Actually they all seem to be a bunch of ba$tards. Ivy's had to find a way to survive all these year's and doing that she has had to abide by her father's ways. Now she's out for revenge for Bors killing the one man she felt was protecting her. I have to say that although I understood why she did what she did and her attitude. I had a strong dislike for Ivy off and on throughout this book and while I warmed up to her towards the end. I still can't say if I liked or disliked her afterall.

As I mentioned all about this book hit all the right spots for me and also it was much darker than the others. It also may hold some senstitive subjects that most people won't like reading about. But I thought that this was the best book in the series yet.

I'm giving this book 4.5 Stars out of 5!!!
