Title: Eli's Triumph
Series: A Reapers MC Novella
Author: Joanna Wylde
Genre: MC Romance
Book Description:
From New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Joanna Wylde comes a new story in her Reapers MC series…
Peaches Taylor spent the last seven years slinging drinks and dodging drunks at the Starkwood Saloon. Some might call it a dead end job, but to her it was an investment—another six months, and she’d have enough money to buy the place.
Life would've been perfect if Eli hadn’t come home.
Eli King is ready to settle down. He stood by his brothers when they needed him, paying the price for their freedom with his own. Now it’s time to claim his reward—the Starkwood Saloon. He’s got the cash to buy the bar, the skills to run it, and just one person standing between him and his dream: Peaches Taylor.
She’s been driving him crazy since they were kids, and not in the good way. When she was six, she shoved a spider down his pants. When he was ten, he locked her in a closet overnight. Then she hot-wired his car at seventeen, and things got ugly…
They’re adults now, and the Starkwood isn’t a toy to fight over—it’s the hill they’ll die on. No prisoners. No compromises. No mercy.
Peaches Taylor and Eli King are going to war.
**Every 1001 Dark Nights novella is a standalone story. For new readers, it’s an introduction to an author’s world. And for fans, it’s a bonus book in the author’s series. We hope you'll enjoy each one as much as we do.**

My Review:
So I first want to say that I have been a huge fan of Mrs. Wylde's for a while now. Like since back in 2016 when I first found Reaper's Property and first started getting into MC books. In all honesty Reaper's Property had been the 'It' book in the MC genre back than and had been all anyone had talked about. So of course I had to check it out and I have to say that Mrs. Wylde was probably one of the first MC author's to pop my proverbable MC cherry. I have sat by throughtout the past couple of years for her releases and waited while she has pushed back some releases. I have read every book in the Reapers series and in the Silver Ba$tard$ series. Well except for the exception of one full length novel in the Silver Ba$tard$ series and one novella. But I have to say when I heard that the Reaper's were getting another book, even if it was just a novella I was over the moon with excitment for this book. And its finally here....
I have to say I wasn't too sure if Eli and Peaches should be together or not. There's a long history between these two characters, that started with them since they were children and tormented each other. And it seems its still continueing shortly after Eli's release from prision. Both Eli and Peaches want to buy the bar from Gus (the man that raised them both), which has been promised to them both by Gus. I'm sure you can imagine the ensuing drama from there.
I have to say this was a long awaited book for me and I really wanted to enjoy it. At times I rolled my eye's at Eli and Peaches antics. And as with any novella, it felt like this book moved way too fast and piece's were missing. But on the other hand I feel like a ton of questions from other books were finally answered.
I did enjoy this book though and it made me want to go back and do a whole re-read of the series. I will say that the Reaper's will always hold a special place in my MC reads.
I'm giving this book 4 Stars out of 5!!!!
