His Pregnant Princess Bride {Book Review}

Title: His Pregnant Princess Bride
Series: Bayou Billionaires #1
Author: Catherine Mann

Book Description:

A princess and a Southern billionaire are expecting twins! Only from USA TODAY bestselling author Catherine Mann!

His focus is on his family's football dynasty. Louisiana billionaire Gervais Reynaud has no time for romance. But he can't say no to a tryst with Erika Mitras. True, she's a princess, but in no way prim…or proper. Their time together is unbelievable…and all too short.

When Erika said goodbye, she meant it. But now she must tell Gervais the truth. He's about to be a father…to royal twins. After leaving her overbearing family, Erika wants nothing from Gervais. But the tempting tycoon just may charm her into a future she desires all too much.

My Review:

     I love Catherine Mann's books. This is the first time I have been able to review a book of hers. And I was really happy to be able to have that chance. This book brings together two of my favorite things, princesses and babies.

     I have to say Princess Erika was one of the harder characters to a read on. And what I mean by that is it took awhile to warm up to her character. She was a bit standoffish and guarded at first. But I warmed up to her when she started opening up.

     I really enjoyed Gervais. He was sweet, caring, loving, successful and sexy. You could tell how much he wanted to be a part of his children's lives.

    I got this book just at the right time. The last few weeks I had been reading books that had been dark. So it was nice to be able to read something that was lighter and on the sweeter side. I really enjoyed the characters in this book. And even enjoyed the secondary characters.

    I'm giving this book 4 out of 5 stars and can't wait to read more in this series.
