Saving Grace {Book Review}

Title: Saving Grace

Author: Colbie Kay

Book Review

At the age of fourteen Dawson Gates loses both of his parents. Fate being on his side brings six new people into his life when it was turned upside down. Two of them gave him a new home to live in and took care of him. Three of them formed a brotherhood and a band with him.

 The last was shy, sweet, and nerdy Grace Sullivan. Dawson could see past all that and she becomes his best friend, first love, and the girl he thought would always be there. Shy, sweet, and nerdy Grace may not be what she portrays and Dawson might find his life turning upside down one more time.

My Review:

       If you have read author Colbie Kay's book Quiet Country that was Bear and Jacey's story than you'll quickly realize that you meet Dawson at the end of the book. In this book we get to know Dawson and go on an emotional roller-coaster. This book gripped my attention from the beginning and held it till the end.

     I loved Dawson from the beginning and my heart broke for him through most of the story. After losing his parents Dawson finds a couple who takes him in. And finds what he wants to do with his life.

    I would love to say I loved Grace. And I did for most of the story I did and I even really felt for her, for everything she had gone through. But by the end, I wasn't her biggest fan.

     I really enjoyed this book and can't wait to read more from this series. I'm giving this book 4.5 stars out of 5!!!!!
