Delicate Ink {Book Review}

Title: Delicate Ink

Author: Carrie Ann Ryan

Genre: Romance

Book Description:

On the wrong side of thirty, Austin Montgomery is ready to settle down. Unfortunately, his inked sleeves and scruffy beard isn’t the suave business appearance some women crave. Only finding a woman who can deal with his job, as a tattoo artist and owner of Montgomery Ink, his seven meddling siblings, and his own gruff attitude won’t be easy.

Finding a man is the last thing on Sierra Elder’s mind. A recent transplant to Denver, her focus is on opening her own boutique. Wanting to cover up scars that run deeper than her flesh, she finds in Austin a man that truly gets to her—in more ways than one.

Although wary, they embark on a slow, tempestuous burn of a relationship. When blasts from both their pasts intrude on their present, however, it will take more than a promise of what could be to keep them together.

My Review:

      I've been finding a lot of new authors that I've never heard of lately and have been lucky enough to be able to check out some of their books. Author Carrie Ann Ryan is one of those authors I had never heard of before. I was really excited to check out her newest book Delicate Ink it sounded like a book I would enjoy. And I mean who doesn't love reading about an inked up hot man!!!!!!

     Austin is an interesting character to say the least. Underneath all his growling and grunting and gruffness. Is a man who is caring and has made something of himself. Also you can see the love he has for his family and his friends. Especially when they find out Austin's father has cancer. I also loved the dynamics between Austin and his siblings.

    I wasn't sure if I was going to like Sierra or not. As I've said before I have a hard time connecting with lead female characters in books. But I found myself being drawn to Sierra she's sweet, sassy, independent and strong.

      There's a lot and I do mean a lot squeezed into this book. It almost made me wish author Carrie Ann Ryan had spilt Austin and Sierra's book into two books. But none the less it is a really good book.

    I definitely give this book 4 out of 5 stars and would recommend it. I can't wait to read more from this series.
